STORE CREW MEMBER

JOB DESCRIPTION

Vegan Juiceology is in the process of building our first storefront location to open by Spring-Summer 2021. We are seeking out-going, enthusiastic, and creative health-conscious individuals who are passionate about healthy living, interacting with customers, and working with the community for our store operations. Customer Service 

  • Treat all customers with positive energy, kindness, and respect.

  • Describe, explain all menu items and benefits. We will train you.

  • Assist customers in the ordering process by making recommendations and explaining the nutritional value of teams.

  • Know drink ingredients and make suggestions based on customer’s liking.

Food And Drink Prep +  Production 

  • Follow recipes accurately using ratio precision and minimizing waste of food.

  • Create juices & smoothies according to customer and restaurant specifications.

  • Receive, prep, wash, cut all fruits and vegetables for all products.

  • Understand the production schedule and recipes (Non-Disclosure Agreement & Non-Compete Agreement Required).

  • Receive food safety certification.

Cashier + Other Duties 

  • Process payments promptly and correctly using the Point-of-Sale system.

  • Clean tables, countertops, and restrooms to ensure cleanliness in the restaurant.

  • Maintain facility for housekeeping which includes cleaning, sanitizing,  and storage of equipment and tools.

  • Re-stock bottled drinks in the refrigerator as well as utensils when necessary.

  • Multitask and work efficiently is a must.

  • Follow all cleanliness and sanitation procedures including frequent hand-washing.

  • Wear a face mask at all times during work hours.

  • Assist with cleaning of smoothie and juice equipment when necessary.

  • Assist in opening and closing of store duties.

  • Other duties as assigned.

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS

  • Special skills or knowledge are necessary for this position.

  • Prior cashier/restaurant experience is a plus.

  • Nutritional knowledge is a plus.

ESSENTIAL PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

  • Must be able to stand during an entire work shift.

  • Must be able to reach, bend, squat, and lift throughout shift.

  • Must be able to carry boxes weighing up to 40 pounds.
